Federal Election 2019: Real time updates of Prince George ridings, national results

8:16 p.m.

Bob Zimmer has won the riding of Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies.

CTV News declared Zimmer the winner with close to 73 per cent of the vote at the time of being named winner (8:10 p.m.)

CTV News also declared incumbent MP Todd Doherty winner in Cariboo-Prince George. 

He had 49.4 per cent of the vote at the time of being announced winner compared to Tracy Calogheros who held 20.1 per cent. 

7:45 p.m.

Bob Zimmer now extends his massive lead to 2,117 votes received to Erickson's 302.

7:43 p.m.

Another update as Todd Doherty strengthens his lead with 429-251 votes for Tracy Calogheros with seven polls reported. 

7:38 p.m.

Todd Doherty leads Tracy Calogheros 122-100 with five polls currently reporting for Cariboo-Prince George.

7:37 p.m.

Bob Zimmer now leads with a whopping 610 votes to Mavis Erickson's 119.

7:33 p.m.

Erickson leads Zimmer by one vote with 283 votes currently counted for Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies.

7:31 p.m.

Incumbent Todd Doherty leads Liberal candidate Tracy Calogheros by 10 votes, 56-46. Sapergia now has 18.

7:29 p.m.

Conservative Party of Canada incumbent for Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies, Bob Zimmer, leads by two votes over Liberal Party of Canada candidate Mavis Erickson in the first numbers of the night.

7:29 p.m.

Todd Doherty of the Conservative Party of Canada leads by eight votes of Liberal Party of Canada candidate Tracy Calogheros in the first numbers of the evening for Cariboo-Prince George.

Heather Sapergia has 10 votes as of now.

7:15 p.m.

CTV is declaring a victory for the Liberal Party of Canada and Justin Trudeau.

It has not been declared if it will be a minority or a majority government. 

As of now, the Liberals are leading with 139 seats. 

7 p.m.

Polls have now closed in British Columbia. 

6:30 p.m.

It's decision night in Canada. 

PrinceGeorgeMatters will be running a live blog with updates throughout the night for the Cariboo-Prince George riding as well as the riding of Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies. 

We will also report national results of note. 

To earn a majority in the House of Commons, a party requires 170 votes.
