Kennedy Gordon

Kennedy Gordon became the managing editor of The Citizen in May 2024, returning to his native B.C. after more than three decades managing daily newspapers in Ontario. These included The Sudbury Star and The Peterborough Examiner, where he spent 10 years as managing editor. Local news is his priority, and under his watch The Citizen has expanded its newsroom staff and, with that, its coverage of the area to become Northern B.C.’s primary news source.
