Scotties update sees B.C. team improvement

Wark scored two in the ninth end to beat Tracy Fleury of Manitoba in a Draw 3 matchup Sunday morning.

Wark, of Chilliwack, took a 4-3 lead in the fifth end when she scored three.

Team B.C., which includes third Kristen Pilote, second Carley Sandwith and lead Jen Rusnell, is tied with Ontario and Alberta for top spot in the A Pool.

Wark will play Megan Ingram of Nunavut (1-1) Sunday at noon (PT).

Sisters Pilote and Rusnell, are from Prince George, as is their father, B.C. coach Rick Fewster. B.C. opened Saturday with a come-from-behind 7-6 win over host Nova Scotia.
