Tyler Ho and Cyle McNabb each stuck in the second period, scoring their first goals since October 2017 to lift the Vancouver Giants to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Cougars.
Connor Bowie opened the scoring 6:10 into the game with his first goal this season, a shot from the right wing which deflected in off a Giant player.
Trent Miner made 32 saves, 17 of which came in the third period, to improve his record to 5-0-1. The 17-year-old native of Brandon, Man., made at least three quality stops in the dying seconds. The Cats also hit the goalpost with 12 seconds left when Jackson Leppard deflected Cole Moberg's point shot.
Taylor Gauthier made 27 saves in the Prince George nets.
The same teams meet again Sunday at 2 p.m.
