Garbage belongs in a dump

I would like to invite Sgt. Rory Smith of the Conservation Office to a tour of the garbage collection site at Red Rock Fire Hall where the bins are always overflowing.

As a resident of the Red Rock area I find a big mess at the dumpster site most of the time.

It's only a matter of time until the bears make it a picnic ground. There is never enough capacity for the amount of garbage coming in. People leave garbage bags all over the place because the bins are full. It makes a mess, it smells bad and looks really bad in front of the fire hall.

Someone even dumped an old freezer at Red Rock Lake, at the end of Patterson Road.

People like this are not looking at the big picture and should be charged.

But they never get caught, which is too bad because I'd like to catch them and have a talk with them myself to educate them. We live in the country and would like to see the natural beauty of the land be there for all people.

Garbage belongs in a dump, not in front of bins or along roadsides to feed bears which will have to be destroyed. Think about it before it's too late.
