As Prime Minister Harper continues to try and do good things for this country, Ignatieff and his Liberals continue to work to defeat wise decisions and plans put forth by the Conservatives.
One that concerns me a great deal is the Liberal plan to squash the Lockheed Marten F-35 Lightening II jet fighter. The Conservatives plan to by 65 fighters.
The plan to build up and refurbish the Canadian military is a wise one. With the world and America falling apart, along with China developing a devise (for no negative purpose they say) that will obliterate an air craft carrier with only one, I say we need to come out of a long "sleep" and have our military properly and efficiently outfitted and prepared should our freedom ever be threatened. Let's be ready.
With Ignatieff's "stay the way we are and do less or nothing" is not what this country needs. Sure it's going to cost to get the F-35 but lets equip our military with the best, that they deserve to protect and do their job with good results.
Same with building more jails. Let's not do less, but build what we need.
Push on Conservatives. You're what we need to do the job.
