Young baseball players did Prince George proud

On behalf of the board of directors for the Prince George Youth Baseball, I would like to say we are proud of Prince George's youth ball players who participated in the provincial tournaments this past weekend.

On behalf of the board of directors for the Prince George Youth Baseball, I would like to say we are proud of Prince George's youth ball players who participated in the provincial tournaments this past weekend. The players worked hard and displayed mature attitudes while under a great deal of pressure.

PGYBA and the northern region were well represented in four divisions, the most teams participating at once at the provincial level in a long time.

The players ranged from nine to 18 years old, and all represented themselves and Prince George respectfully.

Some games were great and some were full of errors. Above all they worked hard, tried their best and won and lost as a team.

Most definitely there wasn't a team or a player that was gross or awful. Lessons were learned and hopefully the positive experiences will go with them as they advance to the next season.

Congratulations to all of you on your success!

You have made Prince George proud.
