Worried about Fort Mac situation coming to PG

Since the early 1990s, when UNBC was constructed, trees have grown significantly since then. If a major bush/forest fire presented itself, the entire campus would be in serious jeopardy.

Since the early 1990s, when UNBC was constructed, trees have grown significantly since then. If a major bush/forest fire presented itself, the entire campus would be in serious jeopardy. Compound this with early year warmer temperatures and a gusty wind, there would be a chaotic dilemma.

A policy is needed stating no trees over 15 feet in height to be within 2 chain links (132 feet) of any structure, along with a plan to log ASAP.

We need to avoid a Fort McMurray situation. Our Bobtail fire last year showed our lack of ability to contain a forest fire.
