I just finished reading the article about Pte. Kirby Tott in Wednesday's paper.
First I would like to give my condolences to his family. My stepson knew him through the Rocky Mountain Rangers and was with him in Shilo. He has nothing but good things to say about Kirby.
The reason for writing this is, I was disappointed with Miss
Hinzmann using the word killed in her article. I think the word died would have been more appropriate.
I'm glad that he has been honoured for serving in Canada's military.
