This has been a sad situation in our city and many comments have been made with very little being known.
The one thing that I felt I needed to comment on was that now the aboriginal community is up in arms, and possible rightly so.
Let us not forget that this 11-year-old boy had parents that helped create who this little person has become, and I must say if by the age of 11 years old you are already so far gone on the scale that you are stabbing people, I think maybe the parents should take a whole bunch of responsibility for this and not just lay the blame on a police officer who may or may not have overreacted.
An 11-year-old child who has already stabbed one person may not be the easiest to calm down.
And as for the workers who are dealing with this child, how did things get so out of hand if you have two adults looking after one child?
Let us not throw all our stones in one direction.
