Wicked temptation

Hi, I would like to submit my opinion on people bringing in holiday treats.

In most offices you visit, there will be one or more than one person on a strict diet. Somebody brings in a box of doughnuts and taunts them with one or more just to get a laugh for when that person cracks under pressure and gives in to that one time.

Some people find this humorous, and some people love the fact that this person gave in to her willpower. And some are jealous because they can't drop the weight like this one person is doing. But in reality, this is no different than somebody waving a beer under an alcoholic's nose or waving drugs in front of an ex-user. Sure you might think its only a doughnut, but to the person on that strict diet its more to him/her.

I am a personal trainer and studying fitness nutrition amongst other fields relevant and am currently training one-on-one with a young lady that before she met me lost an amazing amount of weight, then she hit a plateau and no matter what she did, she just couldn't drop more weight to reach her goal. All this time within a year of her amazing success, people brought in some "treats" in her office, there were a few people taunting her on how good they taste, etc. Now to date she has lost an amazing 115 pounds in less than a year. This is amazing and it shows how a strong willpower, hard work and good advice can actually work hand in hand.
