Why did Mr. P.G. cross the road?
While driving by Mr. P.G. on Saturday night, I asked my kids that question. I was amused by their many interesting answers. Here are some of the funnier ones:
Gianna, 5, answered "Because he wanted to eat the chicken."
Joel, 10, said "Mr. P.G. wanted to go to the PG Playhouse and he is much happier now."
Austin, 14, answered "It's because he was lonely and he saw Tim Hortons,The Sandman and Mr. Mike's on the other side."
Sabrina, 17, said "He may have been addicted to gambling and he lost his land to the casino."
Afterwards, Christine, my wife, pondered that "He crossed the road because he was apprehensive about being the only 'tree' left standing."
Perhaps we ought to open up this question to the general public and see what humorous answers others can think of.
