Mr. Harris,
All I can say is, "Wow!" what a statement regarding Liberal and NDP stand on the "Enbridge Proposed Pipeline" and I quote the Citizen Saturday, April 2, 2011: "One would have to both blind and stupid not to see the economic benefits Canada's oil into the huge Asian market."
By calling them blind and stupid the same government I voted for therefore, I am blind and stupid.
My wife and I play crib, I flipped the board and a sticker made in China. Sir, it was a piece of pine beetle wood stained blue that your government shipped raw logs to China and we buy back the finished product (real smart eh?). I'm blind and stupid?
Everywhere we shop (i.e. Walmart) made in China.
You think that we send all of our oil to China maybe we will be buying cheap gas from them soon. "Real smart!"
You say spinoff jobs for PG. Are you that gullible on the jobs? The tankers will be all Chinese workers. A few Canadians will man the pump stations and the profits go to Alberta. But, I'm blind and stupid?
Prince George will sell some gas and food to the 100 or so workers including a oil pump and some pipe, every couple of years or so. Wow! Jobs and materials galore. We'll all be rich.
How much are the Chinese sinking money to our Government and Politicians for the "Right decision" on building the pipeline? What's the spin? And now gas is 127.9 and going up.
Why not build our own refineries, employ people to build the plants to make gas and sell it back to us? But that's stupid eh?
