Saturday afternoon I had found glass in my yard (on the 800 block of Harper Street) so my daughter came out with her DSI to take a picture. She accidentally left the case on the ground, which contained her old DS, two chargers and 16 games.
Someone picked it up and took it. I saw one of the neighbourhood kids by my yard picking something up, not realizing at this time it was missing.
My daughter is completely heart-broken. She bought some of these games with her own money. If you do the math at $20 a game (and a few of them were $40) it's a big loss. And of course a big loss to a child.
Why would another parent not notice their child bringing home such an expensive toy. Maybe I'm wrong and it wasn't him, but it was someone. I just think it's terrible that any person would steal from a child.
Whatever happened to honesty? If I found something like that I would make sure it was taken to the person it belonged to
