Further to your article of December 7, 2011 entitled "First Nations asks UN to check if Ottawa meets legal obligations". Since becoming government the Harper administration has provided 90 million dollars in funding to the Attawapiskat community. That is $50,000 for every man, woman and child (www.huffingtonpost.ca). I would like Brenda Spence to explain where every dime of that money has gone. Perhaps the Attawapiskat people need to explore new representation not only with regard to their 'Chief' but the band council as well. I'll bet they have more than adequate lodgings, water and heat. Nobody in this country should be living this way. There has been more than enough money provided for proper housing, water supply etc. This is disgraceful! Shame on you Chief and Council!
