What’s in a name

It's hard not to notice the recently installed "objet d'art" at the intersection of 20th and Victoria. The figures appear so joyous and carefree as they leap, frolic and bound about seemingly without a care in the world.

It's hard not to notice the recently installed "objet d'art" at the intersection of 20th and Victoria.

The figures appear so joyous and carefree as they leap, frolic and bound about seemingly without a care in the world.

Blissfully and ironically undeterred by the rust slowly consuming them, they portray truce, freedom and joy.

This recent addition to our cultural landscape needs a name, not the one it was given, but a name from the people.

It is with tongue firmly planted in cheek I suggest it henceforth be knows as "Third Wednesday of the Month."

If anyone has any other suggestions for a name, let's hear it from you.
