Re: Bob Zimmer.
I read your letter in the Rocky Mountain Goat newspaper with interest.
I can't fathom your rational for sending Canadian forces to the Middle East.
Something to do with that strange business in Ottawa where the deputy chair of immigration's son is alleged to have gone on a shooting spree?
Somehow that demonstrates our need to send armed forces half way around the world to support American imperialism?
Stephen Harper's foreign policy can be summed up in one statement: unwavering support for anything the U.S. or Israel requests.
Back when he was in opposition he tried his best to get Canada involved in America's illegal attack on Iraq.
So what's he thinking this time - still looking for weapons of mass destruction?
Our attacks on Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya have spawned a blood drenched purgatory that breeds unrest.
The Islamic State did not exist prior to the destruction of these once stable countries. Ethnic infighting will only increase as the U.S./Israeli aggression continues: Syria and Iran are next.
We know this because General Wesley Clark admitted he had viewed a Pentagon kill list in 2001 naming Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudanand Iran.
There must have been additions as now the Ukraine and Yemen are also targets.
This attempt at world domination is every bit as evil as the Nazi campaign and it pains me greatly that any Canadian would consider being a part of it.
Now that I see our own government promoting it, I wonder, is Canada morally dead?
