Just a small thing but an annoyance, just the same. Why does the NHL schedule in the Citizen list the games in Eastern time? We are after all in the Pacific time zone. And to add insult to injury, the games featuring the Toronto Maple Leafs are bolded. Why not the local team, the Vancouver Canucks?
It seems to me that someone is just too lazy to do their job! A few seconds of editing instead of just cutting and pasting some other paper's schedule would seem to me to be the proper thing for a B.C. paper to do.

Editor's Note: Thanks for your note, Ken. Canadian Press moves the agate sports listing with all times listed as Eastern. Rather than compile and edit the agate ourselves (it takes far longer than a few seconds, believe me), The Citizen pays a vendor to do it for us, using the raw Canadian Press data. My feeling is that the networks have no problem advertising game times in Eastern time and expecting viewers elsewhere to figure out what time the game starts, so our readers can make the conversion over their morning coffee. As for the Leafs, well Toronto is apparently the centre of the universe....
