This is just a letter to the people of Prince George to remind them to show support for our troops, past and present. In this modern world, too many people forget that we are currently in a war where more than 150 of Canada's finest men and women have given the ultimate sacrifice. Not only that, but the foundations of what Canada is today would be non-existent if not for the sacrifice made by soldiers in the past. Although Prince George is not a military town, we are all Canadians, and need to show support for our troops. I am not asking you to support the war, I am asking you to support the men and women whose job it is to fight it. The easiest way to quietly show support is to wear red on Fridays, which is a practice followed by many proud Canadians across the country. Give support, and show some Canadian pride; wear red today, and next Friday, and the one after that.
