Wages could fill a lot of potholes

To my horror, I witnessed two city workers and one supervisor in two vehicles trim a few branches from two small trees on Simon Fraser Ave. properties. This task took 30 min. With one vehicle idling, ten more minutes were spent on paperwork.

I would think three salaries and the gas consumed would fill a lot of potholes on the same street. Is it time to look at all services and employee assignments before raising garbage fees again?
