Use common sense when walking or riding scooters

As I was driving west on 15th Avenue about 6:45 this morning, I saw several pedestrians. I also encountered an electric scooter (with no headlight) coming towards me on the road next the curb.

As I was driving west on 15th Avenue about 6:45 this morning, I saw several pedestrians. I also encountered an electric scooter (with no headlight) coming towards me on the road next the curb. The pedestrians and driver of the scooter were all wearing dark-coloured clothing on a very dark and foggy morning.

Please people, use common sense. Make yourselves visible so drivers can see you. Wear reflective clothing or safety vests. Stay off the roadways if at all possible. You may save yourselves a trip to the hospital or the morgue and save your loved ones and a driver a lot of heartache.

I value your life. Do you value yours?
