I was at the hospital on Wednesday June 27th and paid my dollar for two hours parking.
I went up to the fifth floor for my appointment .When I came back down to my car, I found a ticket on my windshield for $22.40 if paid in 3 days, if not, it goes up to $33.60. The ticket says my pass was upside down yet when I got into my car it was facing upright.
This is the second ticket I've received. When I received my first ticket I was at Northern Health across from the hospital and when I pulled into the parking lot there was a "not in use" sign on the ticket dispenser. Yet when I came back out after my half hour appointment I found I had a ticket placed on my windshield .
I also don't ever remember ever signing any papers that allows them to get my name or my address from my plate. I have never given ICBC that right far as I know. The only ones I have no problem checking my tags are the RCMP. I would be more willing to pay for parking if all that money collected was actually going back into our hospital.
