Traffic enforcement should maintain the element of surprise

We have great traffic laws but their enforcement to me seems spotty at best (or we have a lot of repeat offenders out there). Enforcing traffic laws saves lives, just the way enforcing the Criminal Code does.

We have great traffic laws but their enforcement to me seems spotty at best (or we have a lot of repeat offenders out there).

Enforcing traffic laws saves lives, just the way enforcing the Criminal Code does. Personally we shouldn't announce traffic blitzes. They should happen randomly for best effect.
