Just wondering, as a new immigrant to Prince George - where is the Beautiful B.C.?
I just watched someone dumpster dive again at our apartment complex - they of course are only going for the cans, bottles, etc. but do not do anything about the paper, cardboard, compost and other bits of countless 'trash' that tenants have no appropriate place for.
I have been recycling, composting and reusing since the day I was born, many moons ago, before it became fashionable and required. Where can people do the right thing here?
It is not always very convenient for apartment dwellers from my local knowledge. If it was there would not be dumpster divers looking for cash value! So that in fact proves a point, the zero cash value gets thrown in the dump, despite being recyclable.
Could someone please address this issue and make B.C. beautiful and true to its word? I have been disgusted seeing tons of paper, cardboard and plastic thrown in dumpsters. Please people of Prince George start using your brains... your garbage just does not disappear! Reduce, reuse and recycle!
