I don't have five million dollars to educate the public on the proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline but I have a pen and a mind to do research.
I'm mindful, caring and respectful of the people, the land and the waters. Water, my friends, not oil is our most precious resource. Water is life - there is no life without it. You cannot put a price on it, you cannot risk the fresh water on our planet and expect civilization to continue. A spill is inevitable and Enbridge's track record is nothing short of atrocious.

"The cover-up is beyond reality, how they can consciously do this is beyond imagination, we as citizens need to rise up and expose this". Adrian - East Texas
"....The extent of the damage here is far worse than Enbridge has said it was and the extent of the cleanup is far more inadequate than they could ever explain, what we have here is a cover-up of intense magnitude this is a crime, it's a crime against nature, it's a crime against humanity" - Ben - Nebraska.

The ill health effects that are being experienced by people living along the Kalamazoo and similarly along the Gulf are all listed in the Material Safety and Data Sheets list of health effects from bitumen and the condensate Enbridge has proposed to pipe through our back yard.
As consumers we can be more mindful of choosing alternatives to plastic's, reducing our water usage and only driving when absolutely necessary. We have the technology to change over to a cleaner alternative - let's demand its use of our elected officials.
As Lee Brain so aptly said in his testimony at the JRP hearings in Prince Rupert this February. "...it's time to enter into a new global direction towards a path of healing and new design. It's time now for a full scale mass mobilized transition process off the fossil fuel economy."
