The same problems

As School district 57 contemplates closures of more schools whatever we do we will be left with the same problems. Our schools were designed by individuals who reside in the south. Insulation was not really considered at that time to be important.

As School district 57 contemplates closures of more schools whatever we do we will be left with the same problems. Our schools were designed by individuals who reside in the south. Insulation was not really considered at that time to be important. With the formula cost of X dollars per student provincewide, schools in the north spend more money on heating and electricity than do the counterparts in the south. This means that less money is spent on students. I believe that we have to come up with a plan to insulate the remaining school to the highest standard. Replace windows to Energy Star panes. Install high efficiency furnaces in them. The savings will allow us to put more resources in the classroom.
