The price of business

I am a little upset with what goes on in our fair city. I really find this hard to take. I think it is time that we all let our voices be heard and face up to the big guy. I deal with a small mom & Pop style pharmacy on Tabor Blvd.

I think it is time that we all let our voices be heard and face up to the big guy.

I deal with a small mom & Pop style pharmacy on Tabor Blvd.

It has come to my attention that a second pharmacy has opened in the same block.

How can that happen? Surely the people who lease that strip must be aware that they

have a good tenant there in that same business.

No, they don't have gifts, groceries, lottery tickets etc. What they do have is a good

clientele that I know will still go to Samy and Susan to get the friendly service they

have come to love and look forward to. Helpful information, a big smile, and time

for one on one service.

It's got an old-fashioned feel to it which I love. If you have a concern, Samy will call your doctor and give you peace of mind... where else do you get that kind of service from your local pharmacist? I think they will be OK as they are well loved and respected.

I just hope the people who lease this space, and the new tenants sleep well.

And yes, Tabor Pharmacy delivers, as the sign out front says. But, you can also see that

the new tenants deliver, as their big bright sign says. What a childish move... yes, you are bigger, brighter and sell everything under one roof. If I need a prescription filled, I will go

sit down and chat while it is being filled by wonderful, caring people, not another big

block business. Thank goodness there are really nice people in the world that overshadow the crap that goes on.
