"With great knowledge comes great responsibly." I'm not exact sure who spoke those first words but they ring true in all facets of our lives. There are people who have gone to third world countries and have experienced first hand the poverty and injustices. These people armed with that knowledge, find it difficult to turn a blind eye to their problems. It becomes a moral dilemma and they are under constant attack by their conscious to try and help out.
On the other hand, another person may visit the same country and see the same things but may react completely differently. What causes some people to take action and others not to? We have very educated people that have great knowledge but never act on injustices. We have people who hasn't make it past Grade 4 who show more wisdom than a person with a university degree. Who is the better person? The person that has knowledge and does nothing or the person who doesn't have knowledge and does something? This transfers to all facets of our lives, from the person in their vehicle idling at a drive thru to people not making an attempt to recycle, to the millions of people constantly on the fence waiting for someone to make a change not realizing that they have to make the change.
