Wow, 21 days into the 90-day "Fight the HST" grassroots campaign aimed at collecting 300,000 signatures, or 10 per cent of registered B.C. voters, and more than 145,000 have signed the petition.
Keep up the steam B.C.
Let's give 'em one hell of a fight. The more signatures the better and every signature counts.
Let's get 20 per cent or more and make history. This is about more than just another unwanted tax - this is about democracy.
Speaking of democracy, 46 Liberals voted to repeal the provincial sales tax on April 29 in order to legalize the "harmonized" sales tax to be implemented on July 1.
Now either my math skills are way off or about 30 politicians voted fraudulently as it has been reported time and again that more than 80 per cent of British Columbians don't want the HST.
Therefore, if the MLAs are voting honestly on behalf of their constituents then only 16 MLAs should have voted "Yes" in order to represent the remaining 20 per cent.
Do we call the police?
