That's a lot of what ifs...

What if PM Harper had disclosed why the Conservatives disavowed Helena Guergis? Or why he didn't fire Tony Clements for his paperless $50 million riding boost at the G7? What if he had told David Emerson that he wouldn't appoint him to a Cabinet post

What if PM Harper had disclosed why the Conservatives disavowed Helena Guergis? Or why he didn't fire Tony Clements for his paperless $50 million riding boost at the G7? What if he had told David Emerson that he wouldn't appoint him to a Cabinet post immediately after Mr. Emerson's election as a Liberal? What if he had instead treated that election as the fraud it was and, asked Elections Canada to order a byelection? Would people be more inclined to believe his self-serving story about his lack of involvement in the Senate Scandal?

What if Christie Clark had held a BC Rail Inquiry into why cabinet approved a six million legal fee payment to men Campbell called criminals? Wouldn't it have looked less like she was rewarding Gordon Campbell for giving up his Point Grey seat for her?

What if PM Harper hadn't appointed Gordon Campbell, (DUI while in office), to a plum post? Perhaps a similar Harper appointment is what Rob Ford's antics are about.

What if the three Harper Senate appointees had acted impartially and refused to use their office privileges to help the Conservatives get re-elected, (facilitating their own demise)? No tears necessary here.

What if Rob Ford had listened to his assistant's advice long ago? What if they had made his actions public sooner? He wouldn't have needed to lie and his well-meaning executives might still be getting a paycheck.

What if the person, who was the object of Rob Ford's "I'll kill him tirade," accidently walked into the room where it was taking place? Would he be dead now?

What if someone had walked out in front of Gordon Campbell's car while he was driving drunk? My life was saved from a drunk driver's actions in 1978 only because I fastened my seat belt and, my car had been designed with a headrest, prior to them becoming mandatory. The criminal intent is the same in all DUI's. Some admitted DUI drivers are just luckier than others.

Toronto and Ottawa are beginning to look like areas in Quebec under corruption charges while the voters just accept and re-elect these unprincipled individuals.
