All weekend long with the raging blizzard outside, as I stayed warm and dry in the house snuggled next to the wood stove with family and friends I began to wonder about the road conditions. My husband decided to work a double shift, bringing him home long after midnight. He has an hour long drive before the comforts of home.
Due to the massive snow drifts and getting stuck several times, my husband decided to head back to town. He stopped off at our community store to phone home so I wouldn't worry. I could tell he was exhausted, cold and just wanted to be home.
As he headed back to town, the YRB snow plow passed him, headed towards home. He immediately turned the car around and followed him to our driveway.
A special thanks to YRB for not only bringing my husband home, but for always doing a great job at all hours of the day and night keeping us safe on our roads. We are lucky to have you in our rural area doing the wonderful job you do.
