Huge thanks to Prince George firefighters.
My biggest fears came true as I stood outside my house waiting for the fire department to come.
Seeing the black smoke billowing out from under my trailer, I never thought I would be coming back to my home again. It was the super fast response and effort of our wonderful fire department that made this possible.
They not only saved my home but during all this they took care of me, my friend and my two dogs, putting us into their heated fire truck, giving us water and a dish so the dogs could have water, too. They constantly checked on us and told me what to do to get my insurance claim going.
They are true heroes in all senses of the word and I wish there was a bigger word than thank you to say to them so they could know how much I really did appreciate everything they did for me and my home.
