It was a cold and dark and stormy night at Ness Lake on Wednesday evening.
When I arrived home, the power was out. Another tree down on the lines, I thought. Before I could turn around to go back into town for a hot meal, there they were, the Hydro trucks, lights flashing, racing down the road to fix the lines. It didn't take long before the power was back on. It must have been horrible trying to fix the lines with that cold wind whipping through the wires. These hard working Hydro workers don't get enough credit for the important job they do at all hours and in all kinds of weather.
