I would like to take the time to thank Dallas Thompson, Brandy Brodsky and the rest of the Prince George Cougars for supporting Prince George Minor Hockey over the years.
Back in January the Cougars brought in Steffany Hanlen from Quantum Speed to provide High Performance Power Skating Instruction to their players. Steffany is a power skating instructor who has worked with many NHL players and teams.
There were at least 20 coaches in Prince George Minor Hockey that took advantage of the generosity the Cougars extended to PGMHA by providing Steffany to us. It was a great night with great instruction and definitely something we can all take back to our teams.
To the players and staff of the Prince George Cougars, thank you for each year you have provided this great hockey city the opportunity to watch the best junior hockey players in the world. It has been great to watch Chara, Bouck, Betts, Hunter, Souray, Hamhuis, Marleau, and now with my son, Schenn, Johnson, Willick, Gibb, Connolly, Elliott etc.
Thank you again for your support and the opportunity to watch the best of the NHL's future.
