I would like to take this opportunity to thank two of our local finest peace officers.
On Thursday morning, coming to work just going up Carney I accidentally hit my On Star. Just before anyone answered, I hung it up thinking everything was fine.
I then left the car to get my parking ticket. As I got back to my car, my car was on and who ever was talking hung up. I thought that was strange because my car was turned off then as I just got into my office I had a visit from two RCMP officers.
They were so kind... On Star got a hold of them to check on me. It sure nice to know we are safe with two young men such as these two protecting us in our city.
Guaranteed I will not touch my rear view mirror unless needed.
