Last Wednesday while running up UNBC hill, we encountered a troubled moose. The moose refused to let us go up or down the hill, he even crossed over to the other side of the road twice to come after us.
Our group consisted of nine runners and we all would just like to send out a huge thank you to the gentleman that stopped his white pick-up to help us out.
He was so kind and put his truck in between our group and the moose and continued to follow us down the hill until he knew we were safely on our way.
Thanks again for saving us from a moose that wasn't having a very good day.
