I would like to take the opportunity to thank the road crew and contractors for the recent upgrade to Sooke, Belmont and Bethem roads in PG. The crew did an excellent job on the much needed resurfacing that was long overdue, but much appreciated. Unfortunately for them there is the odd citizen that thinks they can redo the fine work that was done with their own equipment to suit their personal needs and use our tax dollar paid workers as their own personal contractor. That aside, I think the crew needs a well deserved thanks once in a while as the public tends to bash the workers for doing what they are told buy the higher ups with the limited resources given to them.
