Taxpayers suffer due to poor planning

Mr. Mayor, I have had since the last thaw some three weeks ago a lake in front of my home. It seems I can no longer get mail unless they bring a boat as my only access is via water craft.

Mr. Mayor, I have had since the last thaw some three weeks ago a lake in front of my home.

It seems I can no longer get mail unless they bring a boat as my only access is via water craft. I have been calling the city since it began, however short of a couple fellows coming by yesterday with a pole, (that didn't work) I have seen nothing and no one from the city.

This happens every year Mr. Mayor, and in the past, you would come by with a steam truck and fix it in five minutes but not this year.

I am told that we no longer have a steam truck (why is that Mr. Mayor?) and maybe in a few days. This street is a through fare for mothers and they're kids to get to school and for the elderly going to the old folks place on Rainbow and it is an extremely dangerous situation.

I guess poor planning on your part does constitute an emergency on mine. It's not like you didn't know this was coming. My taxes are going up 4.5 per cent and you don't have a steam truck? Service down, taxes up!

Wake Mr. Mayor and let's look after some of the obvious problems and quit creating more.
