In having a conversation with a coworker at work tonight, he said that the property tax bill he is paying for his 3800 square foot $900,000 home in Coquitlam with utilities in is $6,000 and that is so expensive.
I have an old $292,000 home in the Hart area of Prince George with a property tax bill sitting at $5,600 with utilities.
Maybe city council doesn't see a problem with this, but with the lack of amenities, lack of public transportation in a good part of the city, lack of second opinion for medical care and other issues, why are we paying triple the property tax rate that Vancouver suburbs are paying?
