In regards to Mr. Russell's comments on the PAC.
About the only part of his letter that I think the majority of Prince George residents agree with, is the talk about vision, intelligence, and being broadminded, as I believe most of the residents in PG are, and have. As he stated we have so many fine facilities as it now stands, and likely more would be fine, in the matter of the PAC, the outcry has been heard loud and clear, over the past few years.
To also suggest a referendum would cost a great deal of money is ridiculous. Put it on the election ballot coming up, make it simple, are we for or against, heaven forbid we let the majority rule.
I also have to question if Mr. Russell might have another motive, perhaps someone whom the PAC would financially benefit from, from dance fame?
So Mr. Russell if you do not believe in democracy, and believe we are all idiots, keep thinking that way. It's your choice and opinion
If on the other hand, you think that maybe some of us are intelligent, broadminded, have some vision, and believe in democracy, I think we also have that choice and opinions.
