Take care with the air

I am writing to you today to ask that you investigate the continually degraded air quality in the Prince George bowl area.

I am writing to you today to ask that you investigate the continually degraded air quality in the Prince George bowl area.

I have been a resident of Prince George most of my life and every year and every other day I sit back and listen to the local radio stations issue air quality warnings and frankly there are times that the air is down right toxic.

Industry has the responsibility to ensure the products they provide do not result in releasing byproducts into our atmosphere that poison the local area.

I hope that you can appreciate the fact that we as people of this land and you as the government have a responsibility to ensure that we do not have our stewardship of this land result in leaving a toxic atmosphere for ourselves or our children.

I do not smoke, but this morning as I got up I could swear I felt like I had smoked all night long.

I have contemplated moving from this area for my safety.

Thankfully, I work out of town and will be leaving in two days for my next job.

Then I will be able to breathe a breath of fresh air.
