Thank you for writing the story about the universal trail at the Dougherty Creek Campsite on Tabor Mountain. This campsite is under a joint lease with the Prince George Snowmobile Club, Prince George ATV Club and the Prince George Horse Society. Tabor Mountain Recreation Society has registered this campsite as a recreational site through the province further securing this campsite. In co-operation with these three organizations TMRS was able to work with these three groups, the government and IFS to construct a universal trail.

There were some discrepancies in the story presented in Wednesday's newspaper. It is a trail and not a ramp. The trail will be made level with a slight two per cent grade and the base will be packed material. As well, Enbridge was a major contributor to this project, their involvement was left out in your story.

Tabor Mountain Recreation Society is proud of the business community supporting the projects on the mountain and we feel that those who have, and continue to support our community should be recognized.
