Congratulations Prince George Citizen!
I checked with the Webster journalism awards people - they are contemplating an award for the most inappropriate and unprofessional photo journalism by a community newspaper.
Your graphic front page pictures on Aug. 16, showing the unfortunate gunshot victim is a sure winner, beating out other shoo-in winners ... you know the ones, they are found at the supermarket checkouts.
I can only hope that from the calls and letters you have received about these photos, The Citizen changes its internal processes that seem to currently promote tabloid journalism.
