Re: Andrew Adams column "Seeds of Hope."
It is important that we celebrate good things happening around our community.
With the growing concerns about healthy food, the cost of food and food security, I applaud additional active players making a difference on this front in the greater Prince George area.
Andrew Adams (Seeds of Hope column) and his wife Janie have joined those who are working to ensure this community both understands the importance of good local food and its ready availability. Their newly emerging farm "Good Hope Farm" is steadily developing in the pursuit of helping to address these needs around food. Good Hope Farm is an organic farm that uses a range of sustainable farming practices and strives to provide fresh and quality products.
As part of their development, they are embarking on a crowd funding project to build a large root cellar that will assist in the storage of much of their crops so that they might be distributed throughout the winter and spring months. Crowd funding allows many of us to contribute in small ways to helping a project move forward. If you have an interest in assisting with this crowd funding project, I encourage you to go to the following web connection, review the ways you might participate and make a contribution. There are some interesting 'perks' available for contributions.

Again, thanks to the many who work towards a better collection of good food opportunities for us.
