My Christmas wish for those dog owners who pick up after their pets is for Santa to fill your stockings with all manner of wonderful gifts.
For those who allow their canines to mine their neighbours' lawns, city trails and sidewalks with pet poop is to have your stocking burst with the offending excrement.
All kidding aside, please respect your fellow humans and the environment by scooping up your dog's poop.
After all, it is not only the law but the right thing to do.
