So we will all have to pay more for storm sewers, isn't that in our utility tax bills that have been raised steadily over the last number of years?
What about the areas that don't have storm sewers in their neighborhoods? We probably still pay. If so, could you please send someone out to look after my plugged-up ditch? I mean after all isn't the first 15 feet of my property still actually the city's?
This is just yet another tax grab so they can give themselves yet another raise, tax, tax, tax, oh did I mention tax.
I personally can't wait to get this city council out, but who comes in next? Will they be any better? I doubt it. They need to raise money for the land they want to buy north of the city. Wait, didn't the city say a few years ago they want to get out of real estate?
I mean, get real. We all know these people do what they want and don't listen to any input from the public. This will get pushed through just like things always do, and these low rates will jump year after year, just like the garbage cans did.
