I am a fan of satellite radio - a big, big, fan. I get to listen to every silly song that's the latest and greatest and topping those pop charts.
I really like how some of the most recent pop superstars are putting a throwback kink into their latest music. Meghan Trainor seems to be a hip chickie who knows what she wants and knows how to get it.
Her latest single is called Dear Future Husband. Just those three little words tells you exactly how this song is going to go. She is a strong young woman who knows what she wants, what she needs, and what she's willing to give in the relationship. There won't be any old-school gender stereotypes in her marriage!
My favourite line is 'even if I'm wrong, you know I'm never wrong, so why disagree, why, why disagree'. It pretty much tells you there won't be much compromise on her end but the man that takes up permanent residence in her life will have to do plenty of that if he wants to be 'the one'.
