Whew, survived another New Year's.
Started off great with Dralion at CN Centre and then a night on the road with Operation Red Nose. After staying late to cleanup at ICBC and then hitting Denny's for breakfast, it was after 7 a.m. before my head hit a pillow.
Well worth it.
My theme song for the 2014 Red Nose season was Road and Lights by Melosense. This instrumental electronic chill track was perfect for those long drives out to Beaverly, Reid Lake and Buckhorn, when there was nothing else but the client vehicle, the escort vehicle, the road and the lights.
The song's got a great beat but is pretty mellow. In other words, it's a perfect soundtrack because you need to be upbeat but relaxed and cool when volunteering to get happy, under-the-influence folks home, wherever home might be, in the middle of a winter's night.
