For this week's song of the day I'm going old school. Big surprise there, right?
This mellow little tune called Summer Breeze harkens way back to 1972 but certainly applies to how I will be feeling next week, sitting on a lovely beach in Mexico.
This time I won't be the frenetic kind of vacationer that's gotta go do everything at once. I will be relaxin' on the beach, chillin' beside my hunky man Mr. Bob. After the last little while, I just gotta say we really need to be still like couch potatoes, roasting like chickens on the barbecue, and basically be the lazy bums we never are.
So, here's to you snowbirds that are already in the sun and surf, to those who will be soon and especially to those who just have to close their eyes and dream.
