The recent announcement of Brad Paisley's P.G. concert sparked some interest for the newsroom staff. Shout outs went to Paisley's funny little ditties like I'm Gonna Miss Her, referred to more often than not as the Fishin' Song and his sexier songs like his Remind Me duet with Carrie Underwood. But we always came back to the song that pits the fish against the woman and the fish wins.
It's - I hope - a tongue in cheek look at relationships and how they tend to work.
You can so easily deduce that Paisley and his real-life wife Kimberly Williams are showcasing people in the early part of their marriage where people still like each other enough to want to spend time together. Well, at least the woman does, not so much the man. Ask most of the foreverly wedded couples out there and it would look a bit different. The wife would be standing at the door with the tackle box and rod in her hands, acting out the old saying 'here's your hat, what's your hurry?' with a smile on her face because she's actually going to have the remote in her hot little hands. Ya'll don't come back here too soon, ya' hear? Enjoy the video. Oh, and tickets for Paisley's concert go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. if you want to see him in person.
